HairZing Review & Giveaway- 5 Winners!!

Having a bad hairday?:)  HairZing is a really unique company to find beautiful double comb hair accessories!

Our combs are unique and essentially work “backwards” so forget everything you’ve ever been taught about wearing hair combs.  They kindly sent me two medium hairzings (along with a press kit)- one in royal blue and the other in amber.

Me wearing my hairzing
These are so pretty!  I had never seen these before.   HairZings work very well with the curved combs that slide right into your hair, making a comfortable fit; they also are designed to keep from gettting tangled in your hair.  I like how it is stylish, yet comfortable.  I don't like to wear things that are really tight or binding (thus, a future headache:).

It takes a little getting used to, but HairZings make such gorgeous hairstyles.  So far, I've really only worn my hair in a "Pollyanna" or "half- up/ half- down" style, but other styles include the French Twist, Butterfly Peacock Twist, Double Ponytail, and many more!

HairZings can be worn for casual and laid-back settings or "fancy" events such as a concert or wedding, etc.  I have worn mine to church, a piano lesson, and also just around the house.  What a creative invention with so many choices!!

About Us

Our company reflects the dedication and passion we have about life, laughter, and creativity. We create innovative products to help women live their lives to the utmost. We pair this with a deep desire to consciously act in a socially responsible manner.  This means we always strive to build our business in a manner which contributes to the personal growth of all the folks involved. We think long and hard about our choices for raw materials, manufacturing processes and marketing methods.  It is our goal to make the best choices for the planet and those who work with us to bring you HairZings. Sometimes our choices, although better in the long run, are more expensive in the short term. However, if we are going to create products "by women, for women," we want to make certain the women producing our products also benefit, therefore we also strive to build supply chains which have a fair and equitable labor system in which everyone is rewarded for their efforts and able to better control their own lives. (Tribal based work, beading collectives, Human Rights organizations).

It is our absolute passion to ensure a portion of our profit is given away to charities which benefit women and children in the USA and around the globe.
We are constantly looking for better options to do everything. If you have a recommendation on how we can improve, please let us hear from you.
Environment
We recognize the importance of linking our raw materials processing with our vision of a strong and healthy planet. We believe we can offer you a high quality, smashingly gorgeous product without sacrificing the planet we share. With each design we take steps to source as many renewable and recyclable materials as possible. This means substituting bamboo beads (replenishable) for wooden beads, and glass beads for plastic whenever possible. We live in an imperfect world, and sometimes we cannot find as environmentally friendly materials as we would like…..but we keep looking. We welcome your suggestions on new raw materials and/or processes which can further improve our conservation efforts.
Our Products
We strive to offer innovative, high quality products that help you style your hair with as little hassle and as much comfort as possible. Don't we all have more important things to do with our lives than fuss with our hair? There are children to raise, mountains to climb, and corporate takeovers beckoning...

HairZing is offering five of my readers their own HairZing "wardrobe", consisting of a Medium Beaded, a Large or Skinny Large Classic, and a Casual Zinger!  What a deal:-)

  1. I cannot find the one where it's like a thing that you open and put your hair in the middle and clip it. Sorry, I just don't know the name of it.

  6. well, I can find them, but I'm finding that ponytail holders aren't as strong as they used to be, and they break easily. I wear them every day to hold by long hair back.

  9. Oh, I use to have this wonderful plastic coiled hairtye thing, it was from Cosmo and I would put my hair in a ponytail and then wrap it up in a bun, and this plastic coiled thing would fit right over my bun and hold it in place all day long at work. It was all shades of blue and my uniform was blue, I loved it and can't find it anywhere, and somehow lost it.

  12. The hairzing does look great in your hair, but unless is comes with a hairdresser, I'd be in trouble. I couldn't style my way out of a brown paper bag!
Your hair is very beautiful though. Like spun silk!

  13. I used to wear the metal haibands with teeth that were made from wire wrapped around the headbands and twisted into teeth in between wraps. They came beaded in all kinds of colors and I had one for every outfit. Over the years they have all lost their beads and/or teeth, and I can't find them anywhere anymore. I loved them because they would keep my little "flyaway" hairs out of my face, because they drive me nuts!

  16. This won't sound very glamourous but I have trouble finding good pony tail holders - whether they be the basic kind with the big clear plastic balls that hold your hair in place or nice scrunchies (everyday or elegant) to hold your hair back. I live in a hot climate and have very long hair - when the temperatures rise, I just want to stay COOL!
