New England Naturals Review & Giveaway!!

Having trouble deciding on what to eat for breakfast?  New England Naturals has a delicious selection of healthy granola, trailmix, and granola bars. They generously let me choose a few products to review. I chose the Chocolate Omega & Antioxidant Granola Bars and Berry Good Granola.

I'll start by writing about the granola bars...
Who doesn't enjoy a chewy granola bar?!?  Both granola bar packs are USDA Organic. I think everyone's top favorite were the Antioxidant ones. They contain cranberries and blueberries which I just love!  The Chocolate Omega Granola Bars have a slight fruity taste to them, yet with the yummy chocolate chips it's the perfect match for chocolate lovers (like me:)  And for those who are on a diet, these yummy bars are low in fat as well. Granola bars are such an easy and delectable "on-the-road snack"!  New England Naturals also makes Maple Nut granola bars.

The Berry Good Granola was well named:) I had some for breakfast a few days ago, and I like how it has the "classic crunch" to it with a little sweetening from the raspberries. My little brother really enjoyed it, and even had some for a snack!
Here is some of the yummy variety of New England Naturals' products:

Cape Cod Cranberry Granola Low Fat
Tex Mex Trail Mix
French Vanilla Granola...yum!
One of my readers will receive the same products I received~ I pack of the Antioxidant & Chocolate Omega Granola Bars and 4 sample pouches of the Berry Good Granola!

Beautyfix Review & Giveaway!!

Beautyfix by Dermstore has a great line of cosmetics!  They kindly let me put together my own kit of 8 items.  To do this, I went through 4 different steps~ Beauty Profile, Picking my Products, Creating My account, and lastly, Billing Info.  First I went though a beauty profile with questions such as my hair and eye color, skin tone, ethnicity, etc.  After completing the survey, Beautyfix gave me a nice selection of products to choose from that were suitable for my survey answers.  Here's what I picked...

The Philip B. Chocolate Milk Body Creme smelled so good!  It had a nice consistency that moisturized and helped in making my hands smooth.  Great to carry in your purse!  Imagine smelling like chocolate milk all day:)

I have been using the 3Lab Perfect Cleansing Foam nearly every day for the past couple weeks.  I only need a little bit and that really foams up nicely.  This helps with acne control or facial blemishes.

After showering, I enjoy Kerstin Florian Spa Face Aromatherapy Neroli Water.  It has a natural flowery scent to it.

The Philip B. Chocolate Milk Body Wash and Bubble Bath is fun to use with it's nice bubble consistency, and looks just like chocolate milk.  Great for chocolate lovers:)

My mom tried 4 of the products and her top favorite was the Jonathan Create Motion Shaping Creme Gel.  It worked wonders on her medium length curly hair by making it soft and smooth.  She also liked the scent.  It has a neat "twist' n 'turn" opening and is 100% vegan.
My mom's hair after using the gel

Another great Beautyfix product is the SpaRitual Instinctual Moisturizing Lotion - Indonesian Ginger.  The scent is strong, but not overpowering. My mom appreciated that it was 80% organic.

The Juice Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer - Travel Size really is moisturizing- very.  I like that it contains pomegranate juice and it also is made with certified organic ingredients.

The Dr. Loretta Youth Fill Deep Wrinkle Filler was enjoyed my mom:)  She commented that it went on smooth and was not oily like other skincare products she's tried in the past.  This comes in a nice little bottle with a pump.
One of the bags
In addition to my 8 products, Beautyfix also offered a cosmetic bag.  It was hard between the four choices, but I finally settled for the gray and purple- 2 bags for this choice!  These are perfect for storing nail polish, chapstick, etc. in!  Very handy and pretty!

Beautyfix is offering one of my readers their own 8 item Beautyfix kit!  Yippee:)

SmileBooks Review!!

SmileBooks is a fantastic company where you can personally design your own album/scrapbook!  They most graciously gave me a $100 coupon code for a review.  There are two ways to create a SmileBook- download a program and design your own or SmileBooks will kindly do it for you with your approval!
The back:)

I designed my own 74 page 8x6 Compact hard cover SmileBook.  It took me a long time to design the photo book (hours to be exact:), but I'm so glad I put the time into it.  When it arrived, I was not expecting an actual book, but rather more of a scrapbook.  What a pleasant surprise!  For the cover, I picked a light blue with the text "Our Family" in brown font.  On the right side, I put a picture of my parents at the top  and one of each of the children underneath.  To the left of that there is a photo of a gorgeous waterfall I took last summer.  I am totally amazed at all the different selections SmileBook provides!  To decorate the book, I added a cute arrangement of clip art, frames and colorful lettering.  SmileBooks also has many bright backgrounds that feature a variety of designs.  Here's the best part, you can as many photos as you like for one page!!  The photos are clear, bright, and you can position them however you like.  All in all, I am extremely pleased with the photo book and with their friendly service.  SmileBooks are wonderful presents and treasured keepsakes that will last a lifetime!

Eye Candy Coolers Review & Giveaway!!

Eye Candy Coolers kindly sent me their Cucumber eye candy to review!

You might be wondering, "What are Eye Candy Coolers??"  Eye Candy Coolers are circular gel packs that  help reduce swelling/ puffiness or just give you a bit of refreshment!  To use them, stick them in the fridge for a little while to chill.  The eye candy are gentle, soft, cute, and work well.  They come in a nice reclosable pouch.  Eye Candy Coolers would be great for people with allergies or asthma.  I tend to get lines under my eyes often so these are great to use!  Eye Candy Coolers offers them in the colors of Sugared Ice Blue, Tart'n' Tangy Tangerine, and Cotton Candy Pink, and each set has two circles.  I like that these are reusable:)  They would be very useful when down with the flu, and fun for little children.  I think these would be fun to use when taking a refreshing bath or in the pool:)  The next time you feel like relaxing, try Eye Candy Coolers!

Eye Candy Coolers is offering one of my readers their own pair of eye candy!

34 Degrees Crispbread Review + Giveaway!!

34 Degrees Crispbread offers a unique kind of crispbread in six different flavors including Rosemary, Cracked Pepper, Sesame, and Natural.  They generously sent me their Lemon Zest and Whole Grain Crispbreads to review.

34 Degrees Crispbread are much healthier than many other brands- 100% natural!  I like how they are not a "heavy" and really filling type of cracker, but light and delicious.  They are similar to a wafer.  These would be the perfect match for your favorite cheeseball and great for company!

My favorite were the Whole Grain ones.  I tried these topped with some chocolate chip dip I had made, and they were scrumptious!

A sandwich:)
I also put cheese and pepperoni on them which made for a tasty snack:)  The Lemon Zest Crispbread has just a hint of lemon flavor.  These were my mom's favorite.
The Lemon Zest flavor
Mmmm...
"34 Degrees—What Does It Mean?

People always want to know how we got the name 34 Degrees. The answer is Sydney, Australia. Thirty-four degrees is the latitude of Sydney—the city where our company Founder Craig Lieberman discovered his passion for food and wine while attending grad school there. It’s also where he got his first taste of Australian crispbread, the inspiration for our thin and crispy crackers. In 2003, Craig launched 34 Degrees and began importing specialty foods from Australia. But like many long-distance relationships, this arrangement had its share of challenges. Eventually, Craig’s desire to bring his business and his love of food closer to home illuminated the need to take the company in a new direction. In 2008, he discontinued his importing venture to become a manufacturer focused exclusively on making 34° Crispbread in Boulder County, Colorado."

Scripture Designs Review & Giveaway!!

I love Scripture Design's cards!  The Scripture Designs company offers a large selection of beautiful Christian notecards as well as Scripture Verse Art Prints.  They kindly let me host another review and giveaway of their photo cards!  I decided on the Peace Blossom notecards- something pretty and springlike.
In this pack, there are six cards (envelopes included) with gorgeous, bright pictures on them.  I like how they are blank inside so I can use them for a variety of topics.  On each card there is a pretty blossom and a wonderful King James Bible verse.  On the backside, a paragraph is included about the photo on the front- something that is fun to read.    Scripture Design's cards are such a cheery greeting to receive in the mail!

I sent this one to a friend, and when she wrote back, she commented on how nice it was.

Here's a few others from the Peace Blossoms pack...

Almond Blossom

Apple Blossom

"About the Artist: Hannah Stover. Growing up in the hills of Connecticut cultivated in Hannah an early and deep appreciation for all of God’s creation, but especially for the wildflowers she enjoyed bringing home to identify. While quite young she developed an interest in art, first in handwork like embroidery and later in the more refined skills of sketching and painting. Here her knowledge of wildflowers became invaluable as, with pencil and pad, she produced detailed reproductions of the flowers she so enjoyed. Soon she also began exploring the possibilities of photography and would spend hours following butterflies around the gardens, or walking the neighboring brooks after a Spring downpour in search of tumbling waterfalls. Not content to merely be creating art, she began to seek for a way to share her skill and creation’s beauty with others. This desire sparked the beginning of Scripture Designs which now features her art in both card and Scripture print forms. Each new design incorporates portions of Scripture, thus testifying to her love, not only for the beauty of creation but also for the God Who created it."

Here's a couple other things I like from Scripture Designs:

Vision Forum Review & Giveaway!!

Vision Forum offers many quality Christian resources for the family such as books, toys, Cd's, and DVD's.  They generously offered to send me a copy of the Jonathan Park and The Voyage Beyond audio to review.

I had heard of the Jonathan Park audio series, but never listened to any.  This audio is the seventh adventure and contains 12 episodes on 4 Cd's; over 5 hours! Jonathan Park is the perfect activity for a family fun night or a rainy day.

In Jonathan Park and The Voyage Beyond audio, there are many adventures and discoveries to be encountered by the Creation Response Team- such as meeting an eccentric philanthropist, traveling in a submarine, learning about new animals, and a family being restored.  You won't want to miss it!

I really appreciate that this series is from a conservative Christian viewpoint, and that it addresses many issues on the Creation vs. evolution topic using the Bible.  I found it to be very exciting, full of suspense, and it really grabbed my attention.  Some of my family was sick with the flu when this arrived so listening to Jonathan Park was a good way take their minds off of feeling bad:)  They enjoyed it!
Vision Forum is offering one of my readers their own copy of Jonathan Park and the Voyage Beyond Audio Adventure!
