~*~Endangered Species Chocolate Review~*~

Mmmm... chocolate seems to hit the spot year round at any time or day- whether to make that classic s'more, in a fondue, or just in your favorite candy bar! It's one of my favorites (like you didn't already know:-)

Endangered Species kindly sent me three of their all-natural chocolate bar flavors to review... Dark Chocolate with Cranberries & Almonds, Milk Chocolate with Almonds, and Dark Chocolate with Deep Forest Mint.

Of the three people in our family that tried all three flavors, we enjoyed the Milk Chocolate with Almonds the best of all.  (In our family, we are like milk chocolate over dark, but that's just our preference:)  It was excellent.  The crushed almonds add a nice extra crunch to it.  It's not going to last long!  I think it would be a delicious ice cream topping!
You can break them into perfect bite-size squares!

Both dark chocolate were very rich, and you can tell the chocolate is great quality!  The Dark Chocolate with Cranberries & Almonds have just a hint of cranberry flavor which is good if you don't like "fruity chocolate."  The Dark Chocolate with Deep Forest Mint, on the other hand, has a pretty good flavoring of mint.  Endangered Species Chocolate bars are great for summer vacations as I brought the mint one along on our trip earlier this week:)  Be sure to check all their other fantastic products like the following:

"Presence. Planet. Prosperity.

Starting out as a humble chocolate company nestled in the Oregon’s Rogue Valley in 1993, Endangered Species Chocolate was created to spread awareness and make an impact on the growing number of plant and animal species disappearing from the Earth. We began with a line of twelve all-natural chocolate bars that sold well in small natural food stores across the northwest. Today, we are one of the leaders in natural and organic chocolate manufacturing. With more than 30 all-natural and organic products, our chocolates can now be found in large and small natural and conventional grocers throughout the U.S.A. and Canada. Based now in Indianapolis, Indiana, we remain privately-owned and operated and are inspired to expand on the original ideals that started this company.
